Seems Maxwell and Jill Scott just couldn't get along.
If you have tickets for any Jill Scott / Maxwell concert after June 26 you can hang it up. They say Maxwell is refusing to finish the tour because he, Jill Scott and sometime tour mate Erykah Badu just can't get along.
Between Jill and Erykah repeatedly staying on stage way past their allotted times and Maxwell's amazing divatude it was bound to end in tears.

ReplyDeleteThat is true! Because this past weekend in ATL Jill stayed on stage a good hour ½ and he came out for 45 min.

ReplyDeleteI mean I know this was his tour and all, but you have Jill and Erykah, I mean really…you can’t really think they can do a thirty minute to an hour show…
Everyone got 1.5hr to perform, Jill did her thing in her allotted time, I heard Erykah was the real repeat offender, especially on Friday when she was on stage in atlanta, I think that's what caused the big fall out.. glad I got my chance to see those pretty wings :)
