"In a recent interview with Vlad TV, Fat Joe discussed the recent Mister Cee scandal, revealing that he believes rap music is run by a "gay mafia," who occupy key positions of power in the industry, which he dubbed "the greatest gay market in the world."
"In the interview, Joey Crack, who recently shed a confounding amount of weight, outed a variety of industry big wigs -- without naming names, of course -- while encouraging gay people to "rep your set."
"[Hip-hop] is the greatest gay market in the world," Joe explained. "The hip-hop community is most likely owned by gay. I happen to think there's a gay mafia in hip-hop. Not rappers -- editorial presidents of magazines, the PDs at radio stations, the people who give you awards at award shows. This is the f---ing gay mafia, man. They're in power ... So why wouldn't a guy come out and say, 'Yo, I'm gay' and get that type of love? Like Lady Gaga, I don't know if she's gay, but she's running with that gay s--- for real. And she's winning. It's 2011 going on 2012. If you're gay, rep your set."
"While Joe was careful to state that the gay mafia is not primarily made up of rappers, he went on to say that he believes there are gay rappers in the industry, and that he's "pretty sure" he has recorded songs with several of them."
"I think I've done songs with gay rappers. I'm pretty sure of that. I'm pretty sure the football n----s is gay, the basketball n----s is gay -- n----s is gay," he continued. "There's millions of gay people in the world. Girls, too. Once again, I'm not a fan of that s--- either. I'm a fan of 'Yo, I'm gay, what the f---?' 2011, you gotta hide that you're gay? Be real! Like, 'I'm gay, what the f---?' If you gay, you gay. That's your preference. F--- it if the people don't like it."
Side Bar ~ Fat Joe I truly get and understand what your sayin' . . . However, even in 2011 heading towards 2012 it's just not that easy!
If I could revive the dead, I would call up J. Edgar Hoover, and ask him . . .
Who Runs The World . . . (GAYS)!
Okay, okay ... Perhaps thats a bit of an exaggeration, but I do believe your correct that, alot of the big wig executives such as, "editorial presidents of magazines, the PD's at radio stations, award show executives", fashion stylists, personal assistants, make-up artist, photographers, hair stylist, do have "Gay Swagga", so it's safe to say that just like the fashion industry were all around you.
However, a lot of people still have to remain DL, and we all know gayness in the Hip-Hop community is still a bit Taboo. We perhaps may hear rumors, or questionable phrases like "How U Doin'" from the likes of Wendy Williams and others, but, really how many so-called Thug/Non-Thug Rappers are going to come out fresh on the scene and say YEP I'm GAY ... AND WHAT?
But, more importantly, Fat Joe would you really support them as an artist?
I mean REALLY????
You stated, " I'm not a fan of that s--- either. I'm a fan of 'Yo, I'm gay, what the f---?' 2011, you gotta hide that you're gay? Be real! Like, 'I'm gay, what the f---?' If you gay, you gay. "
If they really came out to you, and not hide anything would you still respect them as an artist and appear with them in the videos?
Would they be allowed to be apart of the Terror Squad Camp.
I would give you the benefit of the doubt that if perhaps it was a lesbian or bisexual female . . . Yeah, she gets a pass, but, I can't say the same for a male.
But, then again Fat Joe aka Joseph Antonio Cartagena prove me wrong!
Let me find out you cool with change and perhaps a trailblazer for the Gay Community.
