Nearly a year ago, Sammie and Karina Pasian remade Brandy’s 1995 classic R&B ballad “Brokenhearted”. Their version has hit the net and the Bwood's verdict is…
This remake is equally bad as T-Pain’s remake of Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T.”. I understand they intended to modernize the song, but damn! It’s barely recognizable. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball. Both of the young R&B stars are talented, but they should re-evaluate their skills and tone their ears. Who approved this sh*t?
Yeah there is way to much goin on in the background, its too fast, and the beats are louder than their voices so you can't even tell if they had any emotion in the song....now because they both have great voices this remake could have gone a lot better if what I mentioned was fixed.. But that's is the state of our music today...Good voices are covered up by noise and bad voices are fixed so we can think they are good...

ReplyDeleteI thought Sammie did good. It was the girl that sucked. She sounded like a lamb getting her fur shaved off. They should have kept the Tempo slower.
