Fonzworth Bentley, who you may remember from MTV’s “From G’s to Gents,” is engage. The rapper and reality show mentor recently confirmed to Us Weekly that he is engaged to his girlfriend, actress Faune Chambers. “We are so excited!” the star exclaimed.
The swagger guru also gave up the details of his suave proposal to US magazine’s website. “I tricked her! She thought it would happen on Christmas, but I did it right before New Year’s,” Bentley told US online
Apparently, the day Bentley chose to drop to one knee didn’t matter that much to Chambers as she accepted the proposal. “She said yes, and I was so excited.”
“Afterward, she kept wanting to call and tell her mother, and I told her not to — because then we walked into a restaurant where my parents and her parents were waiting.
We all had lunch, and then I walked them all back to show them where I proposed.” Although he admitted that “the wedding is pretty soon,” the site didn’t report an exact date. In addition to their upcoming nuptials, the lovebirds have also collaborated professionally.
Chambers stars in Bentley’s latest video for Bentley’s latest video for “Greener“. ”It’s really special to say, ‘My fiancée is in the video,’” Bentley said. “I love using that word.”

ReplyDeleteI'm all for love, but I don't buy this. He would never come out in the Hip-Hop community and face scrutiny and discrimination...so he'll marry a woman. He could be straight...it just doesn't add up to me.
