Mary J Blige is being sued for copyright infringement.

Songwriters Jay Ballard and Kim Jones are suing Mary J. Blige and Keri Hilson and her production team 'The Clutch' claiming they straight ripped Mary's 2005 hit single, 'Take Me as I Am' from their 1995 track of the same name.

According to the legal papers, filed in the U.S. District Court in California last week (08Jul10), Jay and Kim are seeking compensation and want the copyright infringement case to go to jury trial.
