What A Notion . . .

This is a B! Xclusive, profound New Me . . .

Today, June 18, 2010 something hit me. . . It’s rather unexplainable but it’s as if I was reminded of who I am.

As, I stepped out the shower this morning, and arrived at the sink I stood there and stared into the eyes of the man in the mirror.

Instantly, I became overwhelmed with the notion that . . .

I never thought I was intelligent

I never thought I was successful

I never thought I would escape from the crevices of depression and sorrow

I never thought I would be considered handsome or attractive in the eyes of others

I never even thought my personal accomplishments were worthy of praise.

However, the irony of it all was the realization that the preface for each sentence began with “I NEVER THOUGHT”.

I NEVER THOUGHT . . . I HAD TO SAY IT AGAIN TO MYSELF . . . I NEVER THOUGHT

But the truth of the matter is . . . I am a THINKER!

I think and know I am somebody

I think and know I am capable of being LOVED

I think and know that my boisterous and infectious thoughts are relevant

BUT, more importantly I think and know I have a voice!

Whether melodic, expressive, or barely even audible, it’s a voice yearning to be heard.

A voice from a THINKER, and not a person who NEVER THOUGHT!
