Tuesday night, December 22 was supposed be a celebration for Mary J. Blige who held a release party for her "Stronger with Each Tear" album. But, someone got punched in the face later that evening. The incident reportedly happened between the singer and her husband Kendu Isaacs.
"She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night'," a source told New York Post. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face."
They were then whisked to a nearby club Pink which reportedly was closed at that time. "She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?' Four of her bodyguards and two of the club's kept them apart," the source further testified.
The incident was said ending with Kendu being kicked out of the club. Mary also left the venue soon afterwards, creating an uncomfortable scene for the party's attendees, reportedly including Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles and Busta Rhymes.
The cause of the altercation is still in question. Word on the block (From Crenshaw in LA all the way to Camp Creek Parkway in ATL) is that Ms. Blige was furious with Kendu Isaacs after he flirted with a waitress or (B'wood says waiter, KENDY HOW U DOIN'). Another rumor suggests the two started arguing after Kendu removed Mary's brother from the VIP section in favor of his favorite video vixens.
Kendu has to realize the old MJB can come out at anytime and anywhere even at her own listening party. All Kendu has to do is just dial-up K-CI from Jodeci....LOL!
