Now the chil’dren were out full force this weekend. Hell, what can I say it’s our favorite holiday – the infamous Labor Day Weekend!

Now, unfortunately I didn’t partake in any happy hour mixers (kidd don’t drink anyway), bbq, pool parties, fashion shows, clubs, private parties not even a white party. Hell, in fact I missed it all. From what I hear the Baddest *itch aka Lil Kim, Chrisette Michelle, Cassie, and Atlanta’s own Keri Hilson was all in town.

Oh well, but, I had to give y’all something.

So I decided to go down to Piedmont “Drop It Like It’s Hott Spot” , oops I mean Park. Whoa, I think I seen it all.

I saw my friend Monty from B-more (see him with his shades. I swear he favors Eric Jerome Dickey). I saw my peeps from Richmond VA, peeps from Miami, and even D.C.
Now the sites were cute, and I even saw J-setters which I’ve never seen before, so I was like wow. Okay do your thang!

However my Lesbian counter-parts, can we say WHAT!

They dominated, showed up, showed out, and did the damn that! Dem’ girls were not playing. Some were lookin’ seriously thuggish, while others were lookin’ so beautiful and lip stick chic.

Me being a people watcher I tried my best to capture every single thang, but, after my neck whiplashed I said yeah, that a wrap for me.

Perhaps this year I’m over it, because the excitement was lacking for me. But, just when I thought I was disappointed I see Qaadir Howard walk right in front of me.

OMG . . . Can I tell ya’ll fo’ real, fo’real I absolutely luv him. I walked up to him so shy, yet, he gave me NO T, NO SHADE, just a huge smile and the warmest hug that clearly made my day!
