"After founding the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in 2007 with $40 million, Oprah was brought to tears on Saturday as she celebrated the school's first-ever graduating class, which includes 72 of the 75 girls who started out with the class. Despite some controversies, including the arrest of a teacher at the school for suspected sexual abuse and criticism that the focus of the Oprah's goodwill only touched a tiny percentage of the population, the billionaire was clearly thrilled with the outcome. The pride that I feel today is overpowering, she said at the ceremony."
