Forget the Whopper to go. BK wants to bring it directly to your door.
From USA Today reports that the nation's No2 burger chain has quietly begun testing home delivery of its burgers, fries and other sandwiches in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
To avoid a soggy meal, BK officials say they've developed a thermal packaging technology that ensures hot and fresh burgers and crispy fries.
There is a $2 delivery fee and customers must live within 10-minute drive of the store.
USA Today reports that BK has it's eye on expanding the service beyond D.C. if it proves to be successful.
