"Ms. Ali has a new scripted show “Love That Girl” debuting on TV One January 10th! [Is she coming for "The Game" which debuts on BET January 11th??!!!] This marks Tatyana’s first regular television role since “Fresh Prince.” Tatyana also serves as a producer on the show along with Martin Lawrence & Raphael Saadiq!

The show has already been picked up for a 26-episode first season. Wow, the Black networks are finally jumping into the scripted game!

Along with Tatyana Ali, the cast includes Phil Morris (“Seinfeld”) – “Delroy Jones”, Alphonso McAuley (“Chocolate News,” Glory Road) – “Latrell Jones”, Kendyl Joi (theatre-trained newcomer) – “Nefertiti”, Mark Adair-Rios (“CSI: Miami,” “NYPD Blue”) – “Adonis”, Peter Oldring (K-19: The Widowmaker) – “Fabian” and Bresha Webb (theatre-trained newcomer) – “Imunique”

The show is about:

Tatyana Ali stars as “Tyana,” a young divorcee who returns home to southern California for a second chance in life and a career in her father’s (Phil Morris) real estate business. When her unemployed brother Latrell (Alphonso McAuley), an aspiring stand-up comedian, unexpectedly moves in with her, the world that she was trying to create is suddenly turned upside down. Tyana’s new move reconnects her with old friends, especially her best friend Nefertiti (Kendyl Joi) who is happily single and ready to help her friend get her groove back!"
