2010 is truly Brandy Norwood and the Norwood Family year!
Ms. Norwood with her raspy contralto vocal range that spans three octaves has taken the world by storm with her successful reality show Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.
I must say it's wonderful to see my Cali Girl back on the scene.
Not only did she knock em’ dead on Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars. She showed the world that she can do anything she puts her mind to.
I have always loved Brandy despite her ups and down, because in B’wood’s eyes she always appeared to be the underdog.
At times people made it seem as if she was never quite good enough, yet, somehow she keeps proving her naysayers wrong.
Not only has she blossomed until a beautiful young woman, she has maintained her humility along the way!
However, with much success comes drama. What can I say drama makes the world go around.
“TMZ & Popeater reported that on August 23, 2010, Marc Mysterio (a Canadian pop musician, DJ, writer, singer, composer and producer) filed a lawsuit against Brandy seeking up to $6,000,000 in damages. According to reports, Brandy had been paid $10,000 as a side artist fee to feature on Marc Mysterio's Debut Album's Lead Single, 'Shout It Out’. Radar Online has subsequently reported that on November 30th, 2010, the judge in the case denied Norwood's motion to dismiss the case and ordered a jury trial to take place, to begin on July 27th, 2011.”
I hope the truth will be revealed.
Side Bar ~ According to YBF.com . . . "Brandy was out at dinner in New York the other day when she made a young fan's birthday. The singer was dining at Cafeteria in Chelsea when she noticed the group of girls celebrating at the table next to her. A source says, "They were huge fans of her and told her how much they loved her". Not only did Brandy sing Happy Birthday to the young woman, she also picked up the $650 bill."
B’wood can’t help but say… Ms. Norwood your a Classy Lady!
