Looks like Wale will be performing at DC Pride after all.
Last week there was some sort of mix-up where Wale's publicist said he wouldn't be playing DC Pride because he didn't know it was a gay event, but Wale said it was because of a family emergency. Whatever the reason for the fake lies, Wale has agreed to appear.
