Today we mourn the loss of Dr. Izzie Stevens aka (Dr. Model) and Dr. George O’Malley aka (007) from ABC Television Series Grey's Anatomy.

I fell in love with them from the minute they step foot in Seattle Grace Hospital. I was there when Georgie choked and earned the nickname “007”, I was there when he caught syphilis, it was I who was there when he and Izzie crossed the line due to being heavily inebriated and end up having sex. And, yet you take him away. WHY - LAWD - WHY. Yet, when I thought I endured enough you take away my beloved Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Katherine Stevens.
I’ve never been blown away by blonds. But, Dr. Izzie effervescent glow captured my heart and rocked my world. Perhaps it was her smile, her genuineness, her optimism, or her immense drive to try to see the best in people. Whatever, it was, she had it!
She lost her battle with metastatic melanoma (Stage IV), but, she won her battle with finding LOVE.
She will always be my beautiful Lady in Pink!
